About the Company

THE MORTON SAFETY COMPANY of Los Angeles, California, was started in 1942 by Charles Morton. As a Safety Engineer at Kaiser Steel in Fontana, he was acutely aware of the importance of a good source of high quality safety equipment. Charles Morton began his company with the mission to work closely with safety personnel to develop better safety equipment for steel workers.

The Morton Safety Company has always been a family-owned enterprise with the same directive as the original founder. Our mission is to serve the worker by providing the best quality safety equipment at competitive prices in order to create a better working environment.
